Paladins, the newest game from Hi-Rez, is making a quite an impression on the Steam Top Games by Player Count list. The free-to-play game officially went to Open Beta in September to a mass of comparison’s between it and Blizzard’s Overwatch. In all honesty, there are some striking similarities. However, that aside, Paladins will soon be making the move to console versions as well.
Hi-Rez made the announcement on September 20th on their Paladins blog saying:
From day 1 of development, Paladins was designed with console in mind. We’ve enlisted some big-name console gamers to make sure the control scheme feels just right. Name any big-time multiplayer shooter that you enjoy most on console and Paladins stands right there alongside them. Except Paladins will continue to be FREE on console, just like it is on PC and Mac!
Paladins is a first-person shooter rooted in a colorful sci-fi fantasy setting featuring playable Champions that have their own unique fire-function and abilities. To find out more about the game, check out the game’s website here.
