During New York Comic Con, DreamWorks and Netflix announced that season two of Voltron Legendary Defender will be premiering on January 20, 2017. The new season will follow the paladins as they bring Voltron back together and try to defeat Zarkon for good.
Those who attended the panel were treated with a sneak peek of a full episode. Voice actors Jeremy Shada (Lance) and Bex Taylor-Klaus (Pidge) appeared along with executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos, co-executive producer Lauren Montgomery and story editor Tim Hedrick on the Main Stage at Javits Center as they answered fan questions.
Voltron Legendary Defender cast includes Kimberly Brooks (Ben 10: Omniverse, Justice League: War) as Princess Allura, Rhys Darby (What We Do in the Shadows, Flight of the Concords) as Coran, Josh Keaton (Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Transformers Prime) as Shiro, Black Lion; Tyler Labine (Reaper, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil) as Hunk, Yellow Lion; Jeremy Shada (Finn in Adventure Time, Batman: The Brave and the Bold) as Lance, Blue Lion; Bex Taylor-Klaus (Arrow, Scream: The Series, iZombie) as Pidge, Green Lion; and Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead, The Legend of Korra) as Keith, Red Lion.
