We are less than 24 hours away from the Boston Festival of Indie Games that’s being held tomorrow, September 10th, from 10am-8pm at the MIT Johnson Athletic Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
This large festival celebrates independent game development in New England and its surrounding regions. This is a great environment for anyone who enjoys playing all different types of games. From board games to video games, the Boston Festival of Indie Games has it all. Over 200 table top and video game showcases were submitted for this event.
Two entire floors are open to attendees! On these floors you will find numerous exhibits encouraging you to relax and try out their game. Think of it this way, by having fun and playing some games, you are actually helping these game developers by providing meaningful feedback.
This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY event! You are encouraged to bring your children. In fact, anyone under the age of 13 is free! Otherwise tickets are $12 online and $15 at the door. But for that fifteen dollars you have access to the festival for the entire day.
The Boston Festival of Indie Games is sponsored by a number of popular gaming brands including Hasbro and Unreal Engine, so you know it’s going to be a great time. For more information check out their website or Facebook page. I hope to see you there!
