The city of Los Angeles has honored Stan Lee by proclaiming September 28th, Stan Lee Day. Stan also declared that Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo will be no more. Instead, it will be called Stan Lee’s L.A. Comic Con. Stan is known for creating some of the most recognized comic heroes, and nothing beats having a day named after you.
Stan had this to say to the city council:
Los Angeles is the home of entertainment. This is where it all starts. This is the movie capital of the world, the music capital of the world, everything, it’s all here in L.A… I am certainly proud as can be to be here today and to have been treated as beautifully as I have been, I can’t thank you nearly enough. Bless you all, you’ve made me incredibly happy.
Let it be known, from this day forward Stan Lee's Comikaze Expo will now be known as Stan Lee's L.A. Comic Con. As declared by the city http://pic.twitter.com/byw7SivEZk
