Seinfeld was never one to back away from controversy or poke cultural taboos squarely in the eye. And yet, one can’t help but think that even Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David would have given pause if faced with the idea of writing an episode of their iconic show in the immediate aftermath of 9/11. Of course, they didn’t get the chance as Seinfeld ended its run in 1998.
That did not stop comedian Billy Domineau from writing a spec script of Seinfeld that takes place immediately after the tragic events of September 11, 2001. You can read the entire script here.
Fair warning, the script is funny and very faithful to the Seinfeld characters, but you won’t feel good about yourself for reading it.
