Thanks to Crunchyroll, North American fans didn’t have to wait long to watch Digimon Adventure tri. The film celebrates the 15th Anniversary of the Digimon franchise and is set three years after the events of Digimon Adventure 2, featuring the return of the original cast and their Digimon. Now thanks to Eleven Arts and Toei Animation Inc., North American fans will be able to enjoy the first film, Reunion, in select theaters complete with an English dub.
The English dub will feature many returning voices including Joshua Seth as Tai Kamiya, Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Sora Takenouchi, Mona Marshall as Izzy Izumi, Philece Sampler as Mimi Tachikawa, Tom Fahn as Agumon, Kirk Thornton as Garurumon, Jeff Nimoy as Tentomon and Kabuterimon, Melodee Spevack as Birdramon, and Dave Mallow as Angemon.
Joining the original cast will be Vic Mignogna (Full Metal Alchemist, Free!) as Matt Ishida, Robbie Daymond (Sailor Moon, Tales of Zestiria) as Joe Kido, Johnny Yong Bosch (Yo-Kai Watch, Code Geass, Bleach) as Takeru “T.K.” Takaishi, Tara Sands (Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon) as Kari Yagami, Kate Higgins (Naruto, Bleach) as Gatoman, Meicoomon and new face Maki Himekawa; Cherami Leigh (Sword Art Online, Shakugan no Shana) as Biyomon, Christina Vee (Hyperdimension Neptunia, Shantae) as Meiko; Kyle Herbert (Dragon Ball, Street Fighter) as Greymon; and Doug Erholtz (Bleach, Street Fighter) as Nishijima.
