Pokemon Co. doesn't see the Pokemon franchise appearing on non-Nintendo platforms, except for mobile

Coming from a Game Informer interview with Game Freak co-founder Junichi Masuda...

“Everyone really knows Nintendo; there is a familiarity with the brand, and they have that really strong brand and Pokemon being associated with that and being affiliated with that bring is very important. With Pokemon, at least, we really feel it is really important to be with Nintendo, specifically with the Pokemon titles, so I don’t think that would ever happen.”

I bet Nintendo would say the same thing. There's no doubt Nintendo feels it's SUPER important to have Pokemon games on their platforms!
