Leonardo DiCaprio is down to portray Stan Lee in biographical film

Ahhh, Stan Lee. He’s a comic book icon who co-created Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Hulk, Fantastic Four, Doctor Strange, X-Men, Daredevil, and Thor. With a legion of fans, it wouldn’t be shocking to have a biopic made about him. And speaking of that, Lee has revealed during a Wizard World Nashville panel that actor Leonardo DiCaprio is a fan and wanted to play him in a biopic about his life.

Lee’s manager Max Anderson talked about how he thought a fan was coming up to Lee’s car to geek out, and it turned out to be DiCaprio. The conversation revealed that DiCaprio is also Lee’s neighbor, which resulted in the comic book legend visiting the actor’s home.

“He’s a big Marvel fan, in his house, he has huge posters on his walls, all over, Marvel posters. He’s great,” Lee described.

In addition, this led to conversations about a biographical film about Lee.

“Doing a movie of my life, with him playing me, and I said, ‘I’m not sure you’re good-looking enough. We’ll test you, see how you look, see how it comes out, don’t get too excited, we’ll let you know,'” Lee said.

Another actor that many fans wanted to see as Stan Lee is Bryan Cranston. You can check out our interview where I show him a fan-made poster of Cranston as the iconic comic book legend.
