Stranger Things Season 2 premieres October, plus terrifying new poster

Stranger Things Season 2
Stranger Things took viewers back in time to the 1980s in Hawkins, Indiana. The town is in a frenzy as the folks are searching for the missing Will Byers, a Demogorgon haunts a select few, a girl has powers that would make Professor X proud, and Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) is obsessed with writings on the wall and Christmas lights. Oh, and who can forget about Barbara, a supporting character who became a sensation. Netflix has released a new poster and announced the release date for Stranger Things Season 2.

If you thought the first season was nuts, take a gander at the new poster below. Again the four boys (Mike, Dustin, Lukas, and Will) will be facing another big threat. Oh, what the hell is that thing? Is it a cloud monster? Also, how are the kids going to save the town? Will Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) somehow return? One thing is for certain, Hawkins won’t be the same after this. Of course, it’s probably not the same after the events of the first season.

Here’s the official synopsis for the second season.

It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.

Why can’t the darkness just leave the kids alone? Remember the ending to the first season? The part where Will is coughing up a slug-like creature and sees the Upside Down world? Yeah, peace won’t last long. And how long will he be able to hide his secret before his family finds out? Whatever the case may be, I am just hoping that Jim Hopper (David Harbour) is going to be around to punch evil in the face.

Stranger Things Season 2 will premiere worldwide on Netflix on October 27, 2017.
