Ubisoft definitely has plans to reveal information about its upcoming Assassin’s Creed game during the Ubisoft E3 Media Briefing next week. Now it looks like a Game Informer magazine photo leak has revealed the game’s title, Assassin’s Creed Origins, and the October 27, 2017, release date.
The photo looks to be snapped by a Redditor who shared it on Imgur. Here we see the Assassin standing on top of the Great Sphinx of Giza. There’s also the reveal of the Assassin’s Creed title with the tagline, “An empire falls, a brotherhood rises.” And in the background are the impressive Pyramids of Giza. Let’s hope we can parkour on top of those.
There have been many leaks for the game, including one that initially revealed the game’s setting in Ancient Egypt. It also looks like the series is bringing back naval navigation similar to Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Rogue.
Meet Ba Yek
As for the main character, there’s a leak of a T-shirt that revealed his name, Ba Yek, according to the Le Verità dell’Animus Facebook fan page.

Here we see the backside of Ba Yek as he is equipped with a bow and shield. The outfit looks a bit tattered and could be a result of battle. It may even come from humble beginnings.
Get ready for Assassin’s Creed Origins when it hits in October 2017, according to the leak. This makes Origins the first Assassin’s Creed game since 2015, with Ubisoft focusing on the Assassin’s Creed film in 2016. (Apparently, that didn’t pay off since the film bombed at the box office and was a critical failure.)
