The Hype Train is a-rollin’! E3 2017 is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate than with some predictions? Game & Talk continues with Microsoft, then Nintendo, then every other company (Bethesda, EA, Ubisoft, etc). We’ll talk about the stuff we know will be at the show, then each will give three predictions: a slightly obvious one, a wishful but plausible one, and “no way in hell this is going to happen but I want it to anyway” prediction.
Our next segment includes Sony. It continues to knock it out of the park year after year with amazing conferences and jaw-dropping announcements. (Remember the Shenmue III, Resident Evil VII announcements?) What more will we have to look forward to this year? Today we are joined by our two friends Josh Brant from The Life of Gaming and Samuel Adams.
First off, we talk a little bit about the news as usual before we get to the predictions. Far Cry 5 was just announced by Ubisoft and it is set in the town of Hope County, Montana, being overrun by a cult with GUNS. As you can expect, there is going to be a lot of guns in this game.
And in an unfortunate turn of events, Red Dead Redemption 2 has been delayed from Fall 2017 to Spring 2018. While we are sad we don’t get to play it this year, we know Rockstar North is going to deliver one of the greatest gaming experiences of this generation.
Then on to one of the worst-kept secrets in the industry, the Mario x Rabbids RPG rumor has officially been leaked via some marketing slides dubbed Mario x Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. A strange-looking game that we hope turns out well!
