The VOID brings the epicness of the MCU to Avengers: Damage Control

Avengers: Damage Control

The VOID continually pushes the boundaries of what free-roaming VR can potentially be. Their next installment may be their most epic and immersive one yet. Avengers: Damage Control starts with Shuri recruiting you to test out the new Wakandan Iron Man suits that the science division put together. Unlike other VOID experiences, you won’t be holding any weapons this time around. Instead, the system relies on the gloveless use of your hands and arms. This is how you block attacks and fire your weapons—Iron Man style. It does take a bit of time to get used it though and the firing mechanism isn’t very accurate.

Nevertheless, you’ll go through a journey where you’ll meet up with a wide array of Marvel characters. Some of the original MCU actors voice the characters, like Benedict Cumberbatch and Paul Rudd, while the rest are voices are by those who don’t sound like their cinematic counterparts at all. This is the best part of the experience because it truly feels as if you’re in an MCU film.

The experience itself does get repetitive since there is a little variation in terms of the combat. However, the climax of the experience feels so much like a boss battle. There’s just so much going on that it becomes a sensory overload and THAT IS AMAZING. In a way, it feels as if you’re in a battle similar to Endgame because a ton of characters shows up for the final battle.

Overall, Avengers: Damage Control is the VOID’s most epic and longest experience yet. There is just so much that happens in the experience that it truly feels as if you’re in an MCU film. Unfortunately, little variation in the combat makes a few areas feel repetitive. But it’s all worth it when you see all these Marvel heroes fighting alongside you during the climactic battle.

You better hurry because Avengers: Damage Control will leave The VOID on November 15th. To book times, click here.
