It Chapter Two is opening in theaters on September 6, and Warner Bros has created an experience in Hollywood that has been transporting guests into the Derry Canal Days Festival and Funhouse. Tickets are free to the public, and it has been running since August 15th and will end on September 8th. Tickets are already sold out, but to ease your FOMO, you can check out our experience and video journey below.
The Derry Canal Days Festival and Funhouse capture the carnival from the film, and guests who enter are able to play three different games. One classic carnival activity includes the water gun balloon game where you shoot Pennywise in the mouth and pop the balloon. The second game gives you five chances to knock down a bunch of Pennywises. Lastly, there’s the ring toss game, and it’s the toughest of the three, and all you need to do is get one ring on the bottle.
The Funhouse is where the horror awaits with many rooms capturing scenes from It Chapter Two. From the hall of mirrors to Derry’s sewer, there are plenty of surprises that will give you the creeps. The whole experience will last around 40 minutes and features a total of ten chilling rooms.
The Derry Canal Days Festival and Funhouse ends on September 8th and runs daily from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. It’s located on the corner of Hollywood and Vine (1721 Vine St., Los Angeles, CA 90028).
