HBO’s Westworld takes place in a futuristic amusement park where you can live out your fantasies as a cowboy in the Wild West. This is the next evolution of immersive entertainment where robots act as NPCs at the park, and you can do whatever you want to them. Well, since we’re not at that level yet in real life, here’s the next best thing. HBO and Survios have teamed up to develop a Westworld game called Westworld Awakening. It is now available at over 400 VR arcades and on Steam, Oculus, and Viveport.
Westworld Awakening is a narrative-driven, single-player stealth exploration game where you play as Kate, a host inside the Mesa facility who become self-aware. The game is set during the events of Westworld Season 2, and as you find out who you are, you’ll need to survive by manipulating your surroundings. This is all done thanks to a QA (quality assurance) tablet, and your journey inside Delos will be filled with puzzles, hosts, and a serial killer host named Hank who’s out for the kill.
Westworld Awakening is now available for download for $29.99.
In other Survios news, Electronauts, the ultimate DJ VR game, has over 35 new music from Childish Gambino, Kygo, Tokimonsta, E-40, and more. In addition, it’s now available on Oculus Quest. Battlewake, the VR pirate ship battle game, will be out on September 10, 2019.
