The teaser trailer has dropped for The King’s Man, the prequel to The Kingsman films. Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class) is returning once again to direct, and this time we’re going all the way back to World War I. In addition to the trailer, a new poster has surfaced, featuring hands, a cane, and a wax seal showing off the Kingsman logo. The King’s Man trailer features a new cast including Ralph Fiennes (Harry Potter films) as Duke of Oxford, Harris Dickinson (Maleficent: Mistress of Evil) as Conrad, and Djimon Hounsou (Guardians of the Galaxy).
For those who aren’t keeping up, the trailer would seem like a different movie. It feels like a period piece, but once the shot of the Kingsman clothing store pops up, you should be very familiar with the look.
Synopsis: As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in THE KING’S MAN.
Fiennes, Dickinson, and Hounsou are joined by Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Daniel Brühl, and Charles Dance.
The King’s Man hits theaters on February 14, 2020, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
