Winston Duke, Zazie Beetz, Bill Skarsgard to star in Nine Days
Deadline reports that Winston Duke (Black Panther), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2, Joker) and Bill Skarsgard (It: Chapter 2) have signed on to star in the upcoming drama feature titled Nine Days. Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange) and David Rysdahl (The Revival) have also been cast. This project will mark the second collaboration between Beetz and Skarsgard, who have previously worked together in Deadpool 2.

The film will be written and directed by Edson Oda which will be his feature directorial debut. Nine Days is officially described as follows: In a house, distant from the reality we know, a reclusive man (Duke) interviews prospective candidates, a personification of human souls (Beetz, Skarsgård, Wong & Rysdahl) – for the privilege that he once had. To be born.

The film will be produced by Jason Michael Berman of Mandalay Pictures, Mette-Marie Kongsved and Laura Tunstall of Nowhere, Juniper Productions’ Matthew Lindner, Datari Turner of Datari Turner Productions, MACRO’s Yira Vilaro, Mandalay’s Patrick Raymond, and Nowhere’s David Horwitch. 30WEST and CAA Media Finance will handle the worldwide distribution rights.
Duke will also serve as an executive producer along with MACRO’s Charles D. King and Kim Roth, The Space Program’s Gus Deardoff, Mansa Productions’ Kellon Akeem and Dwight Howard, Oak Street’s Renée Frigo and Beth Hubbard, 30WEST’s Trevor Groth, Mandalay’s Will Raynor, Nowhere’s Michelle Craig and Piero Frescobaldi, and Caroline Connor, Mark G. Mathis, Mark Stevens and Larry Weinberg.
