The films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe are known to feature end-credits scenes ever since the first Iron Man film. In that film, Nick Fury breaks into Tony Stark’s building and pitches the idea of the Avengers. And since then, the tradition of end-credits scenes have continued on including Avengers: Infinity War and Captain Marvel. In Infinity War, Nick Fury pages Captain Marvel for help before he could turn into dust, and in Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers meet with the surviving Avengers and asks what happened to Nick Fury. Now many fans have been wondering if Avengers: Endgame will have any end-credits scene at all. The answer is no.
Avengers: Endgame‘s actual end credits will feature the names of the main cast along with their scenes from the MCU. It’s a great tribute to the cast who has been involved with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it’s great to see the scope of the film. After the initial credits, it then transitions to the crawling credits. After all the credits have rolled, we see the logo for the studios behind the film. However, we do hear a sound that looks to be paying homage to Iron Man.
It makes sense that there are no end-credits scenes in Avengers: Endgame. This is the conclusion to Avengers: Infinity War, and it’s a film that will have closure for some of our favorite Marvel heroes. Thanos and his Infinity Gauntlet have caused such a heavy toll in the universe, and it’s the final chapter in the Infinity War arc.
Synopsis: The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”
The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from the screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely.
Avengers: Endgame hits U.S. theaters on April 26, 2019.
