The Flash Episode 5.16 Promo: Failure is An Orphan
For last few episodes of The Flash, the team has been working on a meta-cure to take Cicada down. However, Cisco and Caitlin were adamant that the cure be voluntary, as opposed to a weapon. Regardless, Barry ignored their desires in last night’s episode when he forced the cure on King Shark. Another problem is that Cicada is far too crazy to talk down from his murder spree. Unfortunately for Team Flash, The Flash episode 5.16 promo reveals that time may be up. According to Nora, this is the last chance to stop Cicada before he disappears.
This could be the turning point that the team has been hoping for. Cicada knows who they are and where to find them, which has cast a shadow over their lives. The Reverse-Flash has been working with Nora to come up with a plan to stop Cicada. If Team Flash succeeds, will the Reverse-Flash walk free to menace them for the rest of the season?

Here’s the official description from The CW: “THE META-CURE IS READY TO USE ON CICADA With the meta-human cure ready to use, Barry (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash must figure out a way to subdue Cicada (Chris Klein) long enough to take it. Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) steps in to help with the plan. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) eases back into work, and Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) isn’t happy about the way her dad plans to stop Cicada.”
