The last time we saw a collaboration between Adidas Skateboarding and iconic MTV characters Beavis & Butt-Head was back in October when they first debuted a 5-piece collection. The collection paid homage to Burger World, the employer of the two infamous nitwits through a series of shoes and clothing. Now Adidas and Beavis & Butt-Head are reuniting to bring fans a second collection.
Debuting this spring, Adidas will bring a six-piece collection that will include two sneaker silhouettes and four apparel pieces that will blend the nostalgia of Beavis & Butthead along with the legacy of Adidas.
For the footwear collection, Adidas will give their 3MC and Matchcourt High RX the Beavis & Butt-Head treatment. Each shoe will be utilizing a lightweight and breathable canvas upper, while the outsole will incorporate vulcanized rubber. The shoes will employ exclusive artwork, with the 3MC receiving an all-over graphic, which includes both Beavis & Buttheads faces and logo. The Matchcourt High RX takes a minimalist route with its artwork by including a portrait of the duo’s faces simply on each side of the shoe.
When it comes to the apparel, Adidas will bring in two Climalite crew neck tees and a specialty short-sleeved jersey. One tee will feature an image of Beavis in his famous Cornholio persona, while the other tee will incorporate artwork that features the slackers’ favorite couch mixed with the Adidas Trefoil logo. The short-sleeved jersey will be a special Cornholio edition. It comes in a sky blue colorway that will have the name printed across the back along with the number 93, signifying the year Beavis & Butthole debuted on MTV. Rounding out the Apparel will be a ’90s-inspired water-repellent jacket and a flat-brim strap back hat.
The second round of this collaborative collection between Adidas and Beavis & Butt-Head will be available starting March 15th. Fans will be able to purchase it at the Adidas Skateboarding website and Adidas Skateboarding retailers worldwide.
