Stan Lee, the legendary comic book icon, has passed away last year, but the man has had a lasting impact on many fans out there. After all, he was the co-creator of popular characters like Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four, The Hulk, Black Panther, Iron Man, Daredevil, and Thor. Fans were able to see him in many of the live-action Marvel films in special cameos. But with the upcoming Captain Marvel film, it has something very special for fans. Critics have been praising Captain Marvel on Twitter, and a journalist has mentioned that the film opens with a touching tribute to Stan Lee.
According to writer Anna Klassen, Captain Marvel will open with a “very touching Stan Lee tribute.” She added that it’ll be something “Marvel fans will love.”
It’s still not revealed yet whether he’ll have a cameo in Captain Marvel, but fans can expect to see another cameo in Avengers: Endgame. The latter and Avengers: Infinity War were filmed back to back, so the directors, the Russo brothers, were able to bring him on board before his passing.
It’s nice to know that Marvel Studios is dedicating a few minutes before Captain Marvel to honor Stan “The Man” Lee.
