Bandai Namco has introduced another world to the Jump Force universe. It is one filled with superheroes and supervillains with the Boku no Hero Academia aka My Hero Academia universe. And as you can guess, the first person it has introduced is Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku. With the reveal, we also get to see gameplay for both Deku and Asta.
Deku comes from the universe where having a “quirk” gene can give you special abilities to do good for humanity. But not all people with the quirk gene use it for good and to benefit humanity.
To quote Michael Caine’s Alfred, “Some men just want to watch the world burn.”
Deku is one of the few people who was born with no quirk, but that did not stop him from being heroic and catching the eye of All Might, who decides to pass on to him his quirk of All for One to become the ninth holder of the quirk. All Might decides to make him his pupil so he can learn to control the quirk.
We see Deku pull off some of his famous moves such as Delaware Smash, Manchester Smash, and All for One: 1,000,000% Delaware Detroit Smash. Asta also shows off some moves with Black Meteorite, Black Hurricane, and transforming into Black Asta. Check out the video below.
We still have time for maybe one more character introduction before the game comes out. Maybe the video game gods will listen to me and pull a character from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. I have a feeling the next character will be All Might or Bakugo from My Hero Academia. What do you think? Let us know.
Jump Force will be released in just over a month on February 15, 2019. The game features characters from Naruto, Dragon Ball, Bleach, Fist of the North Star, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Rurouni Kenshin, One Piece, and more.
