Life is Strange 2: Episode 2 coming this week, new launch trailer

Life is Strange 2: Episode 2

And out of the blue, Dontnod Entertainment and Square Enix have announced the release date for Life is Strange 2 – Episode 2. With the announcement of the game coming out this week, a new launch trailer has been released that gives us a look at what Sean and Daniel will go up against. The first episode was released on September 27, 2018, so you know the developers are definitely taking their time to craft the interactive tale.

In the last episode, “Roads,” Sean and Daniel are on the run from the cops and the world due to a shocking incident involving the death of their dad. In the end of the episode, we discover that Daniel has telekinetic powers, and it was triggered when he was emotionally unstable. The second episode will take place a few months after the events of the first one. Sean must now teach Daniel to control and hide his powers.

In the Life is Strange 2: Episode 2 launch trailer, new characters are shown like the boys’ grandparents, locals, and potential friends.

For people who have played the standalone spinoff game, The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, the trailer answers the question of how the two games are connected. We see the main character from Captain Spirit, Chris, falling from the tree house, and he is saved by Daniel’s powers. Awww, what a good kid.

In addition, your actions in Captain Spirit will carry over to Life is Strange 2. So if you didn’t get a chance to play the game yet, you should definitely get on it. The game is free to download and tells the story of a kid trying to help out around the house for his alcoholic dad. Chris uses his imagination to make objects come to life, and it’s going to be interesting to see how he will be affected in the world of Life is Strange 2.

Life is Strange 2: Episode 2 will be released on January 24, 2019, for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
