With CES officially kicking off, HyperX has announced its newest addition to its award-winning gear. A few products that are sure to stand out will be HyperX’s first ever standalone microphone, the Quadcast, as well as a new gaming headset that is built in cooperation with the high-end audio manufacturer, Audeze.
The HyperX Quadcast is designed to keep up with the demands of video game streamers. For ease of use, the microphone will feature a tap-to-mute functionality, as well as LED lights that will indicate a streamers broadcast status. To keep audio crystal clear, the Quadcast will feature an anti-vibration shock mount and an easily accessible gain control adjuster that will have four different polar patterns to choose from. The Quadcast microphone will be available beginning in March with a suggested retail price of $139.99.
Expanding the line of its Cloud family, HyperX is introducing two new headsets, The Cloud Orbit and Cloud Orbit S. Both headsets will bring an immersive, cinematic audio experience to gamers. They will be the first headsets in the HyperX family that will utilize Audeze’s patented 1000mm Planar Magnetic Drivers and will feature the Waves Nx 3D audio technology. The Orbit S will differentiate from its counterpart as it includes Waves Nx head tracking technology to create a hyper-realistic 360-degree audio environment. Both headsets will be available at the beginning of Q2 with a suggested retail price of $299.99 and $329.99.
Along with its new audio products, HyperX will also be expanding its gaming peripherals with its newest addition to the lineup, the Pulsefire Raid RGB Gaming Mouse. The Pulsefire Raid looks to give hardcore gamers a new level of customization, with 11 programmable buttons. This will let gamers assign their own personal macro functions that will aid them in carrying out a plethora of commands. The Pulsefire Raid will be designed with speed and accuracy in mind, as it will feature a Pixart 3389 sensor, up to 16,000 DPI, and Omron switches with a click reliability of 20m. The Pulsefire Raid will have a suggested retail price of $59.99 and will be available in Q2.
Last year at CES, HyperX unveiled the new HyperX Predator DDR4 RGB Module. This year it’s announcing the module will now be available in 16GB with speeds of 3000MHz and 3200MHz. It will also be available in module kits of 2 and 4 that can be increased to 64GB. The Predator DDR4 will be for PC enthusiasts who are looking for a personalized touch, as its features will include synchronized lighting with HyperX Infrared sync technology. The 16GB modules will have a retail price of $167 and will be available beginning in January.
