As we say goodbye to 2018, we start to look forward to the things that will be coming our way for 2019. We’ll have highly anticipated movies, TV shows, and animes that will be entertaining us for the next coming year.
Anime streaming service Crunchyroll, the world’s forefront for anime and manga has announced its upcoming winter slate that will be starting in January 2019. For die-hard anime fans, there will be some upcoming shows that will truly get you excited for the next year.
Here are just a few of the shows that Crunchyroll will be delivering to its millions of subscribers:
Mob Psycho 100 Season 2
Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama is your typical 8th grader who expects to live a normal life. At first sight, Kageyama is your run-of-the-mill average kid, but in actuality, he’s the worlds most powerful psychic. As Mob tries to live his life, trying to control his countless feelings so they don’t explode his devastating psychic abilities, the mysterious group “Claw” comes for him once again. Mob Psycho 100 season 2 is released by Warner Bros. Japan and will be available for streaming worldwide (excluding Asia).

Girly Air Force
Mysterious flying creatures called the Zai suddenly appear. Their numbers easily overwhelm mankind’s aerial combat forces. To fight them off, mankind modifies its existing aircraft to create mechanized soldiers called “Daughters.” They are operated by autonomous piloting machines called “Animas” that take on the appearance of human girls. One day a boy named Narutani Kei, who dreams to fly the skies, comes across a shining red aircraft piloted by an Anima named Gripen, who is mankind’s trump card.
The Price of Smiles
In a world, located lightyears from Earth, there is a kingdom that is overflowing with smiles. 12-year-old Princess Yuki is going through the age where her emotions act as a roller coaster. Each day is filled with sadness, laughter, and romance. The palace is full of fun, and the employees that serve in the palace is there to add color to her life.
Crunchyroll subscribers can look forward to watching each show as they are set to premiere in January.
