A few months ago, streaming service VRV launched NickSplat, a channel that was dedicated to showing some of Nickelodeon’s most popular shows. If you were raised during the golden age of Nickelodeon, then NickSplat is there to give you a hint of nostalgia.
To get viewers binging shows over the coming winter break, VRV has refreshed their NickSplat channel by adding the Rugrats spin-off “All Grown Up.” The animated series took place ten years after the original show, in which the Rugrats most popular characters were now “tweens.” The show ran for 55 episodes in the span of 5 seasons and ended in 2008.
In addition to binge-watching all 55 episodes of “All Grown Up,” NickSplat also carries some timeless Nickelodeon shows that you’ll also be able to binge such as CatDog, Rocko’s Modern Life, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Kenan & Kel, Rocket Power, Amanda Show, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Angry Beavers, Clarissa Explains it All, Salute Your Shorts, and many more.
If you’re not familiar with Nickelodeon’s lineup of classic shows, well now is the time for you to catch up. These shows are now available to watch on VRV.
Nickelodeon’s broadcasting paved the way for some of today’s most popular shows, in which they introduced us to zany and colorful characters that were not afraid to show us who they really are. I would run home after school every day so I can watch some of these shows, and with VRV, I can take a trip down memory lane and see if these shows were able to handle the test of time.
