There’s a lot of mystery surrounding Avengers 4, but with set photos being leaked, people are coming up with all kinds of theories. Will there be time travel? Why does Tony Stark have a different hairstyle? What happened to Steve Roger’s beard? Does it take place in the past with the younger versions of the Avengers? More fuel was added to the fire with the casting of a teenage actress playing Cassie Lang in Avengers 4. And now we have a source saying that it will be taking place years after the events of Avengers: Infinity War.
According to SuperBroMovies’s Daniel R, the movie will be set five years after the events of Avengers: Infinity War.
If this is true, having the teenage actress, Emma Fuhrmann, playing an older Cassie would make sense if the film is set years into the future. (Abby Ryder Fortson played the young Cassie in Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp.) The great thing about the time gap is that it would allow viewers to see how powerful Thanos is and how our heroes would have to cope with the devastating aftermath. Will the universe thrive as Thanos has said? Will people be happier with their bellies full?
We’ll find out what the original Avengers team is going to plan once the film comes out. It would be interesting to see if there are members of the team who actually sides with Thanos, thus causing a rift and possibly creating another civil war. We’re starting to think that this may be the end of the original Avengers team as they sacrifice themselves so that the future generations can live on. I’m starting to get emotional just thinking about it.
Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3, 2019. But before we see the heroes teaming up together again, Captain Marvel will be making her debut on March 8, 2019.
Avengers 4 starts YEARS after Infinity War. Not just a few months later as some people were hoping for. Sorry guys.
