Deadline reports that Gone Girl‘s Rosamund Pike will make her return to live-action TV with the upcoming adaptation of the Cristina Alger thriller novel The Banker’s Wife.

The series will be executive produced by Pike and TV vet Lesli Linka Glatter (Homeland), who will also direct an unknown portion. It will be produced by Sherry Marsh (Pose) and developed for the screen by Meredith Stiehm, known for developing the FX adaptation of the Danish/Swedish crime-thriller The Bridge. Stiehm and Glatter previously worked together on Homeland at Showtime when they were both an executive producer on the series, with Glatter still remaining as one.

Released just back in July, The Banker’s Wife was a female-driven story about the titular widow discovering her husband, who recently went missing on a plane that crashed in the Alps, has been keeping a shady client list and an encrypted laptop and realizing his death was intentional and now she’s in danger. The novel also followed a journalist known for writing on wealthy families in America marrying into one with the plan to give up her writing, only for the death of her mentor to pull her back in, with her investigation holding ties to both her personal life and the widow’s search for the truth.

No network, episode order or production date has been announced as of yet, with production company Federation Entertainment optioning the rights to the novel recently and the series now has taken big strides with a writer/creator, director and star behind the project.

Pike, who is most known for her Oscar-nominated performance in 2014’s psychological thriller Gone Girl, has appeared most recently on the animated series reboot of the 1960s hit Thunderbirds Are Go and in the upcoming animated series Moominvalley, based on the novels of the same name, and can next be seen in the biopic A Private War, which hits theaters on Nov. 2.
