Beast Boy Goes Full Tiger and Full Monty in New Titans Clip
The Titans are coming to DC Universe, and these aren’t your dad’s Teen Titans! In a new Titans preview clip from Entertainment Weekly, Beast Boy shows off his shape shifting powers. He tells Robin, Starfire, and Raven that he loves transforming into tigers. What he doesn’t tell them is that his full body transformations leave him naked. But they’ll figure that out soon enough.
EW also spoke with series executive producer, Geoff Johns, for additional context about Beast Boy’s role in the show. “We’ll meet him with another surrogate family [the Doom Patrol], and we’ll see why he would choose to get involved with the Titans — or Dick and Rachel, specifically,” said Johns. “He’s a fun character. He’s one of the best characters to write. I love writing Gar, and Ryan Potter plays him amazingly well.”

Brenton Thwaites is headlining the cast of Titans as Dick Grayson, Batman’s first Robin. Anna Diop is playing Koriand’r a.k.a Starfire, with Teagan Croft as Raven, and Ryan Potter as Gar Logan/Beast Boy. Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly co-star as Hawk & Dove. The first season will loosely adapt a classic New Titans storyline revolving around Rachel/Raven, and her demonic father, Trigon.
The first episode of Titans will premiere at New York Comic Con on October 3. DC Universe will then drop the first episode on Friday, October 12.
