Baymax Debuts in New Kingdom Hearts III Gamplay Teaser Trailer
Square Enix has debuted a new Japanese gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts III. The trailer shows off some more keyblades and new enemies Sora will encounter in the brand new game. However, the most exciting thing about this new trailer is the reveal of the lovable personal care assistant, Baymax from Disney’s superhero film, Big Hero 6. It is unknown if Baymax will be a playable character, but it does look like players will be able to fight along side him and Hiro in San Frantokyo. See the trailer in the player below!
Kingdom Hearts III tells the story of the power of friendship as Sora and his friends embark on a perilous adventure and support each other through difficult times. Set in a vast array of Disney worlds, Kingdom Hearts follows the journey of Sora, a young boy and unknowing heir to a spectacular power. Sora is joined by Donald Duck and Goofy, two emissaries sent by King Mickey from Disney Castle, to stop an evil force known as the Heartless from invading and overtaking the universe. Through the power of positivity and friendship, Sora, Donald and Goofy unite with iconic Disney-Pixar characters old and new to prevail tremendous challenges and persevere against the darkness threatening their worlds.
Confirmed new Disney and Pixar worlds set to appear in the game include the Kingdom of Corona from Tangled, San Fransokyo from the Big Hero 6, Andy’s Toy Box from Toy Story, and the world of Monsters, Inc. Realms set to return from the previous games include Olympus from Hercules, Yen Sid’s Mysterious Tower, the realm of Darkness, Twilight Town, and the Classic Kingdom.
Kingdom Hearts III will debut on January 25, 2019.
