Turtle Beach is getting ready to release a new line of headsets called the ‘Atlas’ Series. The audio company is aiming straight for the hardcore PC gamers by delivering a headset with immersive PC audio and crystal clear chat all while providing long-lasting comfort. The Atlas will have three models that gamers can choose from: The Atlas One, Three, and the Elite.
Atlas One
The Atlas One is designed for the players who like to chat. The headset features a lightweight design, with a metal-reinforced headband and glasses friendly synthetic leather that wraps around memory foam ear cushions. As far as sound, the One will feature 40mm speakers which will deliver immersive audio with Windows Sonic Surround Sound. The crystal-clear chat will be accomplished with the high-sensitivity flip-to-mute mic. Designed for PC the Atlas One will also support use with Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices with its 3.5mm headphone jack.
Atlas Three
The Atlas Three is designed for players who want superior audio. It delivers amplified windows sonic for headphones surround sound by incorporating large 50mm speakers. It will give you that immersive feeling when you’re playing games, watching movies, or listening to music. The three will feature the same flip-to-mute microphone as the One, as well as the metal-reinforced headset frame. The memory foam earcups will be wrapped in breathable fabric. The three will also feature variable mic monitoring allowing you to adjust the volume of your voice inside the headset. The three will also support use with Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
Atlas Elite
The Atlas Elite is the cream of the crop in the series. Built in collaboration with pro esports athletes, the Elite will feature a sleek and durable headband with a suspended pad. The ear cushions will feature an upgraded magnetic memory foam with athletic fabric and synthetic leather which work together to block out any outside noise. When it comes to audio, the Elite will feature pro-tuned 50mm nanoclear speakers with windows sonic surround sound compatibility, and a removable high-sensitivity microphone. The Elite will have a 3.5mm audio cable to be used with consoles and mobile devices, as well as a PC-splitter cable.
The new Turtle Beach Atlas series will be released sometime in September 2018. MSRP will be:
