You got the touch! You got the power! Yeah! The classic 1986 animated film, The Transformers: The Movie, will be coming back to theaters on September 27. Fathom Events will be hosting the film for one night, and today it has announced that it will add 300 more screens across the nation, making it a total of 750 theaters in the U.S.
Those attending the screening of the film will be treated to a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of Bumblebee, which releases in theaters December 21, 2018.

And if that’s not enough, Transformers fans in the Los Angeles area will have a chance to see a live performance from Vince DiCola (Rocky IV), the composer for The Transformers: The Movie. He’ll be performing music from the animated film along with Rocky IV, Angry Birds: Transformers, Saturday Morning RPG, Might Fight Federation and more. The show will be happening a week earlier from the film screening on September 20, 2018, at Whiskey-a-Go-Go in West Hollywood.
Doors will open at 7 pm with the first set (progressive rock material with SAGA STAR) starting at 8 pm and the second set (film and game music) at 9:30 pm. He’ll be joined by his writing partner, Kenny Meriedeth, composer Cody Carpenter (son of John Carpenter), LonelyRollingStars game music cover band’s George “norg” Nowik and more.
