Even with the world of esports gaining more popularity each day, most viewers aren’t aware of the athletes that partake in the sport, but that’s about to change. OMEN by HP is launching its latest initiative that will take fans and viewers and introduce them to some of esports most elite players.
GGWP (Good Game, Well Played) is OMEN’s new YouTube series that will take an esports athlete and dive deep into their mind as a player. The series will be hosted by esports reporter Travis Gafford, who will conduct a long-form interview with a professional gamer. Travis will be asking the hard-hitting questions to reveal as to what got these professional players not only into gaming but the drive to compete against other pros. Following the interview will be an in-depth analysis of play strategy and daily training regimen, all conducted by Mobalytics founder Dr. Amine Issa.
The first episode of GGWP will launch on Wednesday, August 1st on OMEN by HP’s YouTube channel. The first player we’ll get to meet is Vincent “Biofrost” Wang, a decorated League of Legends player. Biofrost will take us through his career which will include his win at Worlds with team TSM (Team SoloMid) and his sudden leadership role with his new team, CLG (Counter Logic-Gaming).

For those who are unaware of the world of esports, professional gamers are still not seen as real “athletes,” but thankfully OMEN by HP wants to diminish that stereotype by giving the world a chance to take a look at the mindset and hard work professional gamers dedicate themselves to be the best gamer in the world. It’s not just about sitting in front of your computer and clicking buttons, but about strategizing and learning how to truly work as a team. It’s about enduring the difficulties and challenges that are thrown at you by your opponent.
Good Game, Well Played will release on both YouTube and Twitch starting August 1st.
