The Gifted season 2 trailer stars the mutant age
Straight from the series’ San Diego Comic-Con panel, FOX has released the first The Gifted season 2 trailer! Check it out in the player below and look for the series to return on Tuesday, September 25.
It was also confirmed at the panel that the comic book group of mutants The Morlocks will appear in the new season!“The 20th Century Fox Television/Marvel series picks up after the explosion of the Atlanta Station. The Mutant Underground search for their friends and family who left with The Inner Circle. Having tracked them outside of Washington, D.C., they must contend with new groups with extreme ideologies, both human and mutant alike, to stave off a brewing conflict.
Stephen Moyer leads the cast of The Gifted as Reed Strucker and is joined by Amy Acker as Caitlin Strucker, Sean Teale as Eclipse/Marcos Diaz, Jamie Chung as Blink/Clarice Fong aka Clarice Ferguson, Coby Bell as Jace Turner, Emma Dumont as Polaris/Lorna Dane, Blair Redford as Thunderbird/John Proudstar, Natalie Alyn Lind as Lauren Strucker, and Percy Hynes White as Andy Strucker.
The Gifted is produced by 20th Century Fox Television in association with Marvel Television. Matt Nix (Burn Notice), Bryan Singer (the X-Men franchise), Lauren Shuler Donner (X-Men: Apocalypse, X-Men: Days of Future Past), Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Apocalypse, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory serve as executive producers.
