Comic-Con: Adventure Time series finale trailer
Cartoon Network has revealed the series finale trailer and Comic-Con clip for the final episode of Adventure Time, which will air on Monday, September 3. The Adventure Time: The Final Seasons DVD (Seasons 8, 9, 10) will hit shelves the following day on Tuesday, September 4. Currently in its tenth and final season, Adventure Time tells the story of Finn the human and his best friend Jake the (shape shifting) dog who battle monsters and save princesses on the mystical island of Ooo. The series features a large collection of supporting characters including Princess Bubblegum, The Ice King, Marceline the Vampire Queen, Lumpy Space Princess, Earl of Lemongrab, and countless others.
A number of high profile celebrities have previously lent their voice to Adventure Time including Neil Patrick Harris, Mark Hamill, Ming-Na Wen, George Takei, Lena Dunham, Ron Perlman, Kristen Schaal, and Lou Ferrigno, A TV film of the series was previously in development before the show’s fifth season, but was canceled. In early 2015 The LEGO Movie producer Roy Lee and The LEGO Batman Movie director Chris McKay announced they were producing a feature version of the hit Cartoon Network series for Warner Bros., with creator Pendleton Ward reportedly involved in writing and producing with Cartoon Network Studios.
