Solo box office sinks to $29 million in second weekend

Disney and Lucasfilm‘s Solo: A Star Wars Story is cruising at a low altitude now, but has secured the #1 position at the domestic box office once again. Solo brought in an additional $30.3 million internationally, bringing its worldwide total to $264.2 million after ten days. Directed by Ron Howard, the film stars Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, Joonas Suotamo. Woody Harrelson Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Paul Bettany, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

20th Century Fox‘s Deadpool 2 followed in second place, bringing in $23.3 million in its third weekend; officially passing Logan, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and X-Men: The Last Stand to become the second highest grossing X-Men movie of all time domestically (behind the first Deadpool by $110 million). Internationally, the sequel brought in an additional $41.6 million, bringing its international total to $344 million and giving it a global total of $598.7.
