Based out of San Francisco, Super7 began as a toy magazine in 2001 and then a store in 2004. Since then their lines have expanded to include such nostalgic pop culture brands as Alien, G.I. Joe, Hellboy, Masters of the Universe, Planet of the Apes, Robotech, Street Fighter and a re-introduction of the classic M.U.S.C.L.E. figures.
Released in 1986 and grossing $180 million worldwide, Aliens was director James Cameron‘s adrenaline-infused follow-up to Ridley Scott’s blockbuster 1979 gothic space horror film, and starred Sigourney Weaver, Bill Paxton, Lance Henriksen, Paul Reiser, Michael Biehn and Carrie Henn. In the film Ripley (Weaver) returns to Earth after drifting through space in hypersleep for 57 years. Although her story about the Alien encounter is met with skepticism, she agrees to accompany a team of high-tech marines back to LV-426…and this time it’s war!
