Based on the success of the Sovereign-class Assault Cruiser, the Archon-class Assault Cruiser makes its debut as a sturdy starship capable of both taking a punch and delivering one of its own. It has been heavily retrofitted with state-of-the-art technology. It also comes equipped with an incremental-phase cloaking device, allowing Captains to slow the process of going to cloak, dealing and taking reduced damage.
