Game Freak director Junichi Masuda would really love it if non-Switch owners became Switch owners. At a meet-and-greet event, Masuda was asked about the upcoming Pokemon game for Switch. While he didn't go into details, he did reconfirm that the team is hard at work on something. He followed that up by saying...

“Who owns a Nintendo Switch? If you don’t have it, please buy one.”

I imagine when Game Freak actually shows off their Pokemon title for Switch, a lot of people waiting to buy the system will rush to the stores and plop down their cash!
