There are certain myths and legends that people truly believe are real. Bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster, and then there’s the Yeti. For those unaware (or haven’t seen Monsters Inc), the Yeti is a mythical furry monster that lives in the snowy mountains.
Basically, no one has seen or photographed a Yeti. So we don’t exactly know if they actually exist. But what if it’s the other way around too? What if the yetis believe humans are a myth just as much as we do? That’s the premise for Warner Animation Group’s latest film, Smallfoot.
The film stars Channing Tatum as Migo, the yeti that finds the human. Also lending to their voices in the film is James Corden, Zendaya, Common, LeBron James, and Gina Rodriguez.
During Warner Bros’ presentation at CinemaCon, WB released the first trailer to those in attendance. Soon thereafter, the trailer was released publicly. Now, you can check it out by watching the YouTube video below. Check it out!
It’s like looking at a mirror, isn’t it? Except more furry… And much larger… Anyways, what did you think of the trailer?
Smallfoot turns the Bigfoot legend upside down when a bright young Yeti finds something he thought didn’t exist—a human. News of this “smallfoot” throws the simple Yeti community into an uproar over what else might be out there in the big world beyond their snowy village, in an all-new story about friendship, courage and the joy of discovery.
Smallfoot hits theaters on September 28th.
