HBO gives new look at latest Silicon Valley season

Silicon Valley S05 - Kumail Nanjiani, Zach Woods, Martin Starr, Jimmy O. Yang, and Thomas Middleditch

Things are looking really good for the Pied Piper crew at the end of last season. After a happy accident involving Jian-Yang’s smart fridge, Richard Hendricks get funding to create his revolutionary “new Internet” idea. With the new, and maybe penultimate, season on the horizon, HBO released a huge set of images from the upcoming season. Check it out!

Take a glimpse at the latest season of Silicon Valley with these new images.

As you can see, everyone is returning for the new season. Unfortunately, this will be the first season without T.J. Miller as Erlich Bachman, who ended the fourth season by traveling to Tibet with Belson for a visit to a monastery.

Last year, HBO announced that T.J. Miller won’t be returning to the show. “The producers of Silicon Valley and T.J. Miller have mutually agreed that T.J. will not return for season 5,” HBO said in the statement. “In Erlich Bachman, T.J. has brought to life an unforgettable character, and while his presence on the show will be missed, we appreciate his contribution and look forward to future collaborations.”

Unfortunately, there’s nothing really groundbreaking about these images. Then again it’s nice to see how the gang is holding up in a post-Erlich Bachman world.

So what do you think? Be sure to leave your thoughts in the usual section below!

“Silicon Valley” stars Thomas Middleditch, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr. The show also features Josh Brener, Amanda Crew, Matt Ross, Suzanne Cryer, and Jimmy O. Yang.

“Silicon Valley” returns to HBO on March 25 at 10 PM.
