Pic-a-Pix Deluxe for Nintendo Switch Adds
Color Blind Mode, New Demo and Even More DLC

Staffordshire, UK – Lightwood Games has released a patch to update Pic-a-Pix Deluxe to version 1.10, which includes several user-requested enhancements.

The major addition in this version is a new colour blind mode. Having learned that some colour combinations used in the game’s puzzles were not distinguishable for users with certain types of colour blindness, Lightwood has added the option to adjust the game’s palette.

The default alternate colour scheme should work for the majority of colour blind users, but it is possible to further adjust each palette colour individually if necessary.

Another new feature is the ability to add temporary marks while solving the puzzle.

The updated game also improves the clue marking logic, and eliminates some occasional slowness which had been reported on the largest puzzle sizes.

At the same time, a new demo based on the same version of the game has been released on Nintendo eShop. It contains 12 new puzzles and can be installed alongside the first demo withouterasing it.

Lightwood continues to support Pic-a-Pix Deluxe by releasing regular DLC puzzle packs.

Classic Pack 2 was released last week, with 60 brand new black-and-white puzzles. These are classic picross puzzles and the pack includes the challenging 35x25 size, which is only available in Pic-a-Pix Deluxe!

Small Puzzles 2, Large Puzzles 2 and Mixed Puzzles 2 will be released on February 15th, adding more colour puzzles in a choice of sizes.

More packs, with titles ending in the number “3”, will be released throughout March.

Packs are available as downloadable content on the Nintendo eShop. Players can jump directly to the add-on list from the “Extra” section of the game.
