Reign makes her debut in the Supergirl midseason finale trailer
With the four part Crisis on Earth-X crossover now half over, the four superhero shows on The CW will be returning to their regular season story arcs soon and the network has just released the trailer for next week’s episode of Supergirl. Check out the midseason finale trailer in the player below!
Titled “Reign,” the episode is set to air Monday, December 4 and sees the debut of Odetee Annable as the World Killer, Reign. It is officially described as follows:
“Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) investigates a mysterious symbol popping up all over National City, tracing its origins back to an ancient prophecy and the mark of the World Killer, Reign (Odetee Annable). Meanwhile, the tension between Lena (Katie McGrath) and Morgan Edge (guest star Adrian Pasdar) continues to build, causing James to step in and offer up some protection, and possibly igniting a spark in the process.”
Glen Winter directed the episode, which was written by Paula Yoo & Caitlin Parrish.
Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers/Supergirl, Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow ‘Winn’ Schott, Chris Wood as Mon-El, Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Odette Annable as Sam/Reign, and David Harewood as Hank Henshaw/J’onn J’onnz.
Based on the DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the series is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, Sarah Schechter, Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller. Supergirl is produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
