Swery pledges to stick with The Good Life whether it's funded or not

Coming from a Polygon interview with Swery...

“Originally and even now I have been concerned, of course. I’m not going to give up, though. There’s no way. I’m going all the way through to the end.”

The Fig funding campaign doesn't have much time left, and it's only managed to pull in 19% of the funding goal. It doesn't look like the game will be funded, but Swery remains committed no matter what.
