During the Paris Games Week conference, Sony announced their newest games, including the PlayLink-based game Erica, which will have players make choices for the main character, Erica, after she is contacted by an unseen voice.
Created by Flavourworks, players will have to make difficult choices for Erica as she embarks an unknown journey meeting people. It is up to you whether you think Erica should trust them or not. The main premise of the story is to find out the truth about a murder that will be introduced in the beginning of the game.
As seen in the trailer below, Erica receives a phone call that tells her, “I’ve been watching you, Erica. I’ve been watching you for a very long time. They have been watching you too. They’ve been waiting very patiently and now they’ve come for you. Just remember, don’t break the seal. If you break the seal, I can’t protect you.”
Throughout the trailer, we see clips of the decisions the character must make with each person she interacts with. This game looks a lot darker than previous announced PlayLink games. It also looks more like an interactive live-action movie.
As part of Sony’s PlayLink platform, Erica will allow multiple players solve the murder together. There is no word yet on when Erica will make its PS4 debut.

Paris Games Week, or PGW, is a trade fair for video games held annually at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, France. It is organized by SELL, a French organization that promotes the interests of video game developers. The mission of SELL is to explain and illustrate the reality of the video game to the French. Another immediate will, the protection, and information of the consumer, then face a total lack of framework. Today, the PEGI classification and the PédaGoJeux collective perfectly assume these two essential missions.
