The Dead by Daylight team has been teasing A Nightmare on Elm Street’s Freddy Krueger, and now a new trailer has popped up that pretty much confirms he’ll be appearing in the game. He’ll be available as part of the A Nightmare on Elm Street Chapter, and the new DLC will be available on PC tomorrow, October 26th. What a great way to spend the Halloween week than to scare survivors with your claws.
And if you’re a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One user, don’t worry, since the A Nightmare on Elm Street DLC will be available soon.
Fans of Robert Englund’s version of Freddy Krueger may be disappointed, but you can blame that on his likeness not being available. What we do get is a mix of the old and new versions, you know, the one starring Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen, AMC’s Preacher).
Dead by Daylight is a 4v1 asymmetrical survival horror game where four survivors are tasked with trying to escape before the monster kills them. Michael Myers is a recent addition to the monster lineup, and his Halloween DLC included the creepy neighborhood of Haddonfield.
Dead by Daylight is currently on sale on the PlayStation Store for $17.99 if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber ($20.99 for non-subscribers). The sale price will end on October 31st at 8 a.m. PT, so be sure to get the game at an earlier price before it’s too late.
