The third season of Voltron: Legendary Defender premiered on Netflix on August 4, 2017. And in just a couple of months, fans will get to see the fourth season when it releases on October 13th. DreamWorks has debuted a new trailer for the fourth season, where friends and allies across the universe will come together to take on the Galra Empire.
Synopsis: With Shiro back at the Castleship, Keith makes a choice that causes a rift between him and Team Voltron. As Allura and team focus on building the Voltron Coalition, Prince Lotor’s plans start to take shape.
Voltron: Legendary Defender has an unconventional release date for its seasons along with different numbers of episodes for the later seasons. The first season contains 13 episodes, season 2 has 13 episodes, season 3 has 7 episodes, and season 4 will have 6 episodes. (This reminds me of the last two Game of Thrones seasons having lesser episodes.) It’s also interesting to see three seasons from the show premiering in 2017 with the second season premiering on January 20, 2017.
The show features Josh Keaton as the voice of Shiro, Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead) as Keith, Jeremy Shada as Lance, Bex Taylor-Klaus as Katie “Pidge” Holt, Tyler Labine as Hunk, and Kimberly Brooks as Princess Allura.
Voltron: Legendary Defender season 4 will premiere on October 13, 2017, on Netflix.
In addition to the new trailer that was released, you can also check out the new stills. (The first was is at the top.)
