After teasing us for months now, Netflix finally indulges and gives us our first real look Marvel’s The Punisher in a full-length trailer. The trailer begins with a Frank recollecting on some fond memories with his family, only to have it all shatter to pieces. What ensues next is what The Punisher is good at, creating chaos and mayhem for those that have wronged him.
We see Frank on the warpath trying to unravel the mystery behind his family’s death in the only way he knows how, by using guns. Lots and lots of guns. Turns out the FBI, Homeland Security, and just about everyone is gunning (pun intended) for The Punisher. And if couldn’t tell, the trailer was set so perfectly to Metallica’s “One,” which is so fitting to Frank Castle. Check out the trailer below.
Aside from Jon Beranthal’s awesome portrayal as Frank Castle, other characters we see in the trailer are Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll), Micro (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Dinah Madani (Amber Rose Revah), and Rawlins (Paul Schulze). I’m pretty sure there will be more once the series comes out. Which is interesting because there still isn’t an exact release date except for Fall 2017. I have a feeling The Punisher will be here sooner than expected…
