Idris and Kate Survive the First Mountain Between Us Clip
20th Century Fox has debuted the first The Mountain Between Us clip featuring Idris and Kate struggling to survive, which you can check out below. Kate Winslet (The Reader, Divergent) and Idris Elba (Star Trek Beyond, Luther) star in the survival drama/romance, an adaptation of Charles Martin’s 2010 novel.
Stranded after a tragic plane crash, two strangers must forge a connection to survive the extreme elements of a remote snow covered mountain. When they realize help is not coming, they embark on a perilous journey across hundreds of miles of wilderness, pushing one another to endure and discovering strength they never knew possible.
The Mountain Between Us is set to open on October 6, 2017. Directed by Hany Abu-Assad (Paradise Now) from an adapted screenplay by J. Mills Goodloe (Everything, Everything) and Chris Weitz (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), the film co-stars Dermot Mulroney (The Grey) and Beau Bridges (The Descendants).
