Yondu Hot Toys 1/6th scale collectible figure revealed
Hot Toys has revealed its Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 1/6th scale Yondu collectible figure, as well as the deluxe version. You can view photos of the Yondu Hot Toys figure in the gallery below!
Expertly-crafted based on the image of Michael Rooker as Yondu in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, the 1/6th scale Yondu Hot Toys figure features a newly-developed head sculpt, interchangeable magnetic fin and the new “prototype” fin, a intricately-tailored and highly-detailed costume, a pair of suspenders with arrow holster, a dagger attached to the wristband holster, a specially-designed figure base, and a miniature Baby Groot attacking in his Ravagers outfit!
The Deluxe Version will include an additional Aero-rig that can be worn on Yondu’s body and Rocket’s blaster, plus the cage in which Groot was held captive by Taserface.
Both versions of the figure will be available in approximately Q2 – Q3, 2018.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, now available on Digital HD, Blu-ray and DVD, stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill (aka Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Michael Rooker as Yondu and Sean Gunn as Kraglin. New cast members include Pom Klementieff, who plays Mantis, Elizabeth Debicki as Aesha, Chris Sullivan as Taserface and Kurt Russell as Ego, the Living Planet.
Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage.
Directed and written by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was produced by Marvel Studios’ president, Kevin Feige, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Jonathan Schwartz, Nik Korda and Stan Lee serving as executive producers.
