It Stains the Sands Red: Check out this exclusive clip from the new zombie survivalist thriller
The Vicious Brothers – Colin Minihan and Stuart Ortiz (Grave Encounters, Extraterrestrial) – are the brains behind the relentless, atmospheric existential zombie western survivalist horror movie It Stains the Sands Red, a critically acclaimed shocker that will be released on July 28th to theaters and VOD via Dark Sky Films. It Stains the Sands Reds is directed by Minihan and blends tried and true zombie motifs with the stalk and chase antics of a classic The Road Runner cartoon.

It Stains the Sands Red stars Emmy-winning actress Brittany Allen as Molly, a troubled woman from Las Vegas with a dark past, who finds herself stranded in the desert with a lone and ravenous zombie on her tail in the throes of a zombie apocalypse. In this exclusive clip, we see Molly and her boyfriend having their “He’s coming to get you Barbara” moment, as the shambling, starving ghoul stumbles towards them and – as often happens in these films – the couple gravely miscalculate the resilience of the living dead.
